Tyree Oliver is being held on $20,000 bond.
Delaware State Troopers of the Sussex County Governor's Task Force, in conjunction with the Delaware Probation and Parole Sussex Street Unit, arrested a Millsboro man on multiple drug charges on Thursday.
The incident occurred on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 8:50 a.m., when members of GTF and the probation and parole went to the 23000 block of Mission Road in Millsboro to arrest 26-year-old Tyree R. Oliver. Oliver was a probation absconder who had warrant outs of Superior Court for drug charges and violation of probation and a capias out of a Justice of the Peace Court for failure to pay fines.
Oliver was located in the residence and taken into custody without incident. A search of the residence yielded over $1,000 in allegedly illegally obtained drug proceeds, approximately 1,780 bags of heroin (12.46 grams) and drug paraphernalia.
Oliver was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $20,000 cash-only bond.
