Sen. Chris Coons announced on June 25 changes to his Washington, D.C., staff.

“After more than two years leading my office, my long time friend and Chief of Staff Adam Bramwell will be taking on the role of senior adviser and general counsel, where I will benefit from Adam’s two-decades of legal and policy experience with management, ethics, appropriations, judiciary, business outreach and national security issues. For over 30 years, Adam has been one of my closest friends and confidantes,” said Coons. “I am thankful that Adam will now be able to fully dedicate and focus his robust, bipartisan Senate experience of more than two decades on issues that are important to me. Adam has been and will be especially helpful in my service as the vice chairman of the Senate Ethics Committee and in my efforts to work in an effective, bipartisan manner. I am deeply grateful to Adam for leading my office in Washington with a steady hand through the tumultuous political changes of the last eighteen months, and for his dedication and service to my office, our continued collaboration and close friendship.”

Jonathan Stahler, deputy chief of staff and legislative director, will assume the role of chief of staff, responsible for the day-to-day and strategic direction of the office.

“I welcome the strong legislative and policy experience that Jonathan will bring to this role and look forward to working together more closely,” said Coons.
