High school and middle school will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. Kindergarten to sixth grades will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m. Child Nutrition Association Smorgasbord is still on as scheduled tonight from 5-7 p.m., at Smyrna High.

Smyrna School District Superintendent Patrik Williams has announced that all schools in the district will be dismissing two hours early today, Friday, Feb. 1, because of snow.

Smyrna Middle School and Smyrna High School will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.

Kindergarten to sixth grade will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m.

All after-school student activities including sports have been postponed and will be rescheduled.

SMORGASBORD STILL ON

The Smyrna School District Child Nutrition Association Smorgasbord is still on as scheduled tonight, Friday, Feb. 1, from 5-7 p.m., at Smyrna High School, 500 Duck Creek Parkway, Williams said.

The menu includes roast beef, baked chicken, baked ham, peas and dumplings, baked ziti, mashed potatoes, au gratin potatoes, brussels sprouts, succotash, broccoli salad, seafood salad, pasta salad, pretzel salad, salad bar, assorted desserts, coffee, iced tea and milk.

The cost is $12.

Proceeds will be used for scholarships for Smyrna High School graduates.
