The Eagles improved to 5-2 this season heading into the Turf Bowl at the University of Delaware Saturday, Oct. 6 against Delmar.

Julie Snow scored three goals to help lead the Smyrna High field hockey team to a 10-0 victory at Seaford Thursday.

In the first half, Snow scored on an assist from Jessica Bergold with 27:03 left in the first half.

At the 25:14 mark, Bergold scored on assist from Alexis Moore.

About seven minutes later, Moore scored on an assist from Ashlyne Fowler.

Snow knocked in her second goal of the day unassisted with 13:50 left in the half.

A little more than a minute later, Madeline Wilber scored unassisted.

At the 9:33 mark, Fowler scored on an assist from Wilber.

Then Madison Steele scored two goals within two minutes, both on assists from Wilber, as the Eagles took an 8-0 halftime lead.

Snow scored her third goal of the day at the 11:26 mark of the second half on an assist from Bergold.

Kayla Wilson knocked in Smyrna's 10th goal on an assist from Snow with 8:15 left in the game.

The Eagles outshot the Blue Jays 16-2 and held an 18-1 advantage on penalty corners.

Katelynn Porter made one save for Smyrna.
