Japan Airlines has launched a seat-selection map to show where babies will be sitting on upcoming flights.

The seats with parents carrying children in their laps are marked with a small image of a baby's head.

Thank you,@JAL_Official_jp for warnings me about where babies plan to scream and yell during a 13 hour trip. This really ought to be mandatory across the board.

Please take note,@qatarairways: I had 3 screaming babies next to me on my JFK-DOH flight two weeks ago.pic.twitter.com/kQYQFIqqCD

According to The Points Guy, the map will show passengers traveling with children between 8 days and 2 years old. It will only show seats purchased on the Japan Airlines site — if passengers book their flights elsewhere, the icons won't show up on the map.
